Five years: the time passed since the release of Hair Bomb. Two years: the time used to perfect every detail of The Prolonged Disaster, a new album full of promises by Montreal’s The Expectorated Sequence that takes on where the last opus ended: a heavy music, both spastic and melodic, but this time with a more mature feel. Fans of the band will love it, the others will be seduced.
note: i have no idea what to compare this to, but its epic post-emo, post rock, and quite heavy in a few different ways. a concept album perhaps.
